JCF National Council

JCF’s National Council 2008-2009National Coordinator: Abidemi Bankole

dsc07242.JPGOur God is  awesome! I am constantly reminded of His faithfulness and love for us, especially since coming to Japan from Canada. It’s been an amazing 3 yearsliving in Aomori, not always easy, but with the certainty of God’s presence and His guiding hand.  I’m humbled, and very excited to embark on this next phase- that of being National Coordinator.  These are exciting times in Jet Christian Fellowship (JCF). I’m honored to be a part of it and to be used by God in Japan, at this present time.  Please keep the leadership team in your prayers; we look forward to seeing you at one of the retreats, and even just receiving an email from you.  Psalm 133: 1-3

Librarian: Laura Jane PoppLaura JGrace and peace! My name is Laura and I`m a first year JET from Oklahoma in the U.S, living in Mie Prefecture. I`m so excited about the opportunities God has given me to serve here in Japan, including teaching an English/Bible class for non-Christians at a local church and being the JCF librarian! I pray that God will use both activities to redeem many lost souls and strengthen the faith of Christian brothers and sisters here in Japan. Please brows the JCF list of titles and let me know what you would like! I also keep a blog that includes prayer requests and thoughts on Christian life in Japan, so if you would like to read it or contribute comments, you can visit laurajanepopp.blogspot.com. May God bless you abundantly!

Greetings from the Great White North of Honshu: Aomori!! I’m from the Great White North of North America: Canada!! I’m a first-year ALT teaching at Hirosaki High School. One of the best parts about being anywhere in the world is connecting with other believers of Christ, and to share the love He gives with others. It’s an honour to be able to be a part of the JCF team and help out with the website!! To be honest, I’m not really sure what’s in store for this site yet, but here is my biography to keep things up-to-date!! I look forward to seeing what else is in store.
