Welcome to the JCF Library! Below you will find the most current list of the hundreds of books and multi-media items (tapes, VHS, CDs, and DVDs) in the collection. We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to read about and listen to many different topics relevant to the Christian faith and enjoy our wide variety of Christian music. Anyone is welcome to use the library. You needn’t be in JCF or a Christian to check out an item, though we do request that you live in Japan. To request an item, please email the JCF librarian with the name of the author and title of the item(s) you would like along with your mailing address. JCF will cover the cost of shipping them to you, you will then be responsible for the cost of returning them to the librarian. Please return the items within three months so that others can have the opportunity to use them. However, some items can be kept or given away to others. These items are marked in the library catalog. Happy reading/listening! Also, a variety of Christian materials such as manga, Bibles, tracts and CDs are available in Japanese (some materials are also available in English). They are a great way to reach out to Japanese people in your workplace or community. If you would like to receive some of these materials or to know more about what materials are available please contact Lana Oue (JCF’s missionary support). Materials are free and donations are optional.
