National Coordinator

Adrianna AveryAdrianna Avery
Hi! My name is Adrianna and I am a second year JET in Kyoto Prefecture. I am excited to be serving God, Japan and the JCF family this year. We are united by the love of God and I hope that we can support each other as brothers and sisters from around the world. There are so many ways to stay connected with friends of faith and find resources here, so definitely take your time and look around the site. I look forward to getting to know you so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions or just to talk!

Retreat Coordinator

Chelsey BealChelsey Beal
Hello everyone! My name is Chelsey Beal and I am a first-year JET located in Shiga Prefecture. I am originally from Jackson, Tennessee. JCF has been such a blessing to me since I first stepped foot into Japan. The Fall Retreat that was held in Nagano-ken was exactly what I had been searching for within my first few months here–a chance to find and bond with other Christians in Japan and a time to dig deeper into God’s Word. That being said, I look forward to helping coordinate future JCF retreats. I hope many of you will be able to attend!

Retreat Coordinator Assistant

G’day mate! I am Hideki Miyamoto from Nagoya, Aichi. I work as a Social Worker and Recreation Coordination at a senior care facility. Even thought I am not a JET (I am 100% Japanese), I’ve been involved with JCF for a few years. I am happy to work as Retreat Coordinator Assistant this year! I promise you that JCF retreats are worth joining! You will learn many new things at JCF retreats! Also, you can make a lot of lifelong friends from around the world! I am looking forward to meeting and talking to you! Please feel free to talk to me at retreats or anytime. God bless you!

Webmaster

Aaron RomanickAaron Romanick
Hello there! My name is Aaron Romanick, and I’m a second-year ALT in Murakami, Niigata, and I’m your friendly, neighborhood webmaster! I’m in charge of JCF’s web presence, so it’s my job to make sure that people who are looking for a solid Christian group in Japan can find us online, get plugged in via local churches, prayer groups, Bible studies, retreats, and more! Also, while I will do my bestest to keep this site well-oiled, I am only one (fallen) man, and if you see something funny/incorrect/etc., please feel free to shoot me an email and I’ll take a look at it right away! While maybe not one’s first image of ministry, I’m excited to serve the Lord from behind my computer screen!

Missionaries Involved with JCF

Lana and Tak Oue
Tak and I have been missionaries in Japan for 37 years. Presently we are strategy group leaders in our mission targeting the regional cities and rural towns and villages. Our vision is starting simple house churches all across Japan.

Having spent three years on JET and another on a working holiday visa, I am now an official missionary with Mission to Unreached Peoples and am happy to connect the larger missionary community (not just MUP) and the Christian JET community as need and opportunities come up.
